Report structure
The section organizes the available documentation and provenance signals so the artwork can be reviewed as a traceable object, not only as an image.

This section details the conservation and restoration processes undertaken to return "En el Bosque" to an optimal visual and structural state. The interventions addressed issues on the painted surface, the stability of the canvas, and the selection of a more appropriate frame. The comparative documentation, shown in Figure , highlights the overall differences in the front view of the painting before and after restoration.

In concert with these procedures, the painting was set into a newly chosen gilded frame that echoed a late 19th-century European decorative sensibility. This frame replaced a simpler or possibly mismatched predecessor, ensuring that the stylistic and chronological resonance of the artwork was maintained. The ornate scrollwork and foliage motifs harmonize well with the painting's subject, while the dimensions of the frame offer a balanced, visually substantial border.
